- You have 2 options:
- 1- Use the startup menu in KS2.0 and upwards. There you can select which
- drive to boot from.
- 2- Change the hardware.
- - Remove the internal drive.
- - Remove the external drive from it's housing.
- - Install the ex-external drive internally.
- (Just plug it in, the mechanisms are electrically compatible.)
- - You will probably not be able to replace the lid on the A500.

- You can get a standard PC 720kb drive and use it as a replacement.
- Yes. They ARE compatible. But you might have to change some of the
- jumpers on the new drive to make diskchange work.
